Common fixes for common problems.

The extension isn't blocking anything on Site X.

First, check if the site is accidentally whitelisted. Click the extension icon and ensure the toggle is set to "On".

Some sites use complex Shadow DOMs or iframes which might prevent detection. You can report the specific URL via GitHub issues so we can improve our selector engine.

It's blocking safe words (False Positive).

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our regex engine tries to be smart, but context is hard.

You can temporarily add that site to your Allowlist in the extension settings, or report the specific word to us so we can refine the dictionary.

How do I uninstall the extension?
Right-click the ContentGuard icon in your browser toolbar and select "Remove from Chrome". This will also delete your local settings and custom blocklists.
